After looking through the work that I have already done these images atop the page will aide me in finalizing my formal, conceptual and spatial aspects of the Library design. The relationships and strategies used in creating these piece will be re looked at and used to strengthen registrations lines, massing strategies and formal relationships between the spaces already developed. The planar mapping exercise will be used to develop stronger registrations within the spaces, the weaving and wax studies will be sued to develop strong formal massing of these "planes" while the early study model will be used to strengthen already existing spatial relationships.

This process has been quite successful in that I have looked at the way I have been articulating the spaces in a totally different way. Before this exercise I mainly been reading the dialogue between spaces and the OMNI POWERFUL stacks. Now I am reading the relationships between the reading rooms, conference room, cafe digital catalogues etc much more clearly. After this the articulations of the spaces and their legitimacy in terms of the manipulations tweakage and placement are much stronger. The process of Drawing without Paper has been an invaluable step in the design of the library.

Side Tracked at the MoMA, Manhattan

"Drawings Without Paper"---This weekend I went to Manhattan to relax and escape before the grind of the final weeks of design. However there is no escaping beauty. At the MoMA I found hidden within the exhibits "Drawings withOUT Paper". These works were beautiful. None of the works were meant to be drawings without paper but they did achieve many of the same aesthetic qualities that the current exercise if attempting.
